Terrantez do Pico
Fermented espontaneously in very old 650-litre barrels, with one of the barrels undergoing partial malolactic fermentation. It aged in the same barrels on fine lees for 8 months, after which the wine was bottled.
With a strong mineral character, it shows at different moments some guava and peach and buttery notes, all with the background presence of the natural volcanic profile. Palate with volume, very mineral and deep. It has a smooth, salty and very persistent finish.
